Devo dire che io adoro le creme mani della Avon perchè quelle che ho provato finalmente mi hanno risolto il problema della pelle che in inverno praticamente si spaccava (le mani mi sanguinavano!) per la secchezza, i troppi lavaggi e il freddo. Ora è uscita una nuova crema mani, al Gelsomino, Glicerina e Vitamina E, quindi l'ho provata subito! La crema è molto morbida ed idratante  e non unge, cosa molto importante...odio le creme che ti lasciano le mani unte per un'ora!! Idrata molto bene, e devo dire che il profumo è veramente fantastico! Questa è la più profumata delle creme mani Avon! Nella stessa linea trovate anche la Crema Corpo e l'Emolliente per Labbra. Al momento tutta la linea è in offerta lancio quindi è anche molto conveniente. Se la proverete sono sicura che l'amerete anche voi!

I must say that I love Avon's hand creams because the ones I've tried finally solved the problem I had in winter with my hands' skin, it was so dry due to water and cold that my skin was breaking and my hands were literally bleeding. Now there is a new hand cream with Jasmine, Glycerine and Vitamin E, so I tried it immediately! The cream texture is very soft and idratating, and it doesn't grease, which is a very important thing as I hate creams that leave your hands greasy for an hour! Idratation is very good and the perfume is really fantastic! This is the most scented Avon hand cream! In the same line you can also find the Body Cream and Lip Balm. At the moment the whole line is promotional sale so it's also very convenient. If you'll try it I'm sure you'll love it too!!

NAIL ART: UNGHIE SCHIZZATE - NAIL ART: SPLATTERED NAILS

NAIL ART: UNGHIE SCHIZZATE

Prima di iniziare questa nail art sarà meglio ricoprire il tavolo con un giornale, perchè  vi ritroverete con macchie di smalto in giro! Avrete bisogno di 4 smalti: 1 colore neutro (bianco, rosa ecc) e 3 colori forti, un pennellino per nail art e dello scotch carta.

Prima applicare 2 mani di smalto neutro sulle unghie e lasciate asciugare (foto 1). Mettete del nastro carta tutto intorno alle unghie, così dopo sarà più facile togliere l'eccesso di smalto. Usando il pennellino intinto nello smalto blu, scuotetelo sopra le unghie in modo che il blu schizzi sulle unghie. Il pennellino deve essere ben bagnato di smalto. Ripetete fino a quando avete raggiunto la quantità di schizzi blu desiderata (foto 2). Lasciate asciugare bene e pulite il pennellino con il solvente.

Fate poi lo stesso lavoro con lo smalto giallo, lasciate asciugare e pulite il pennellino. Stesso lavoro anche con lo smalto arancio (foto 3). Con l'aggiunta di ogni nuovo colore cercate di dirigere gli schizzi verso un'area ancora non molto schizzata dell'unghia, così da avere schizzi un pò su tutta l'unghia. Lasciate asciugare completamente, poi togliete lo scotch carta e togliete eventuali schizzi di smalto che siano finiti sulle dita. Passate una mano di Top Coat per far durare la nail art più a lungo.

NAIL ART: SPLATTERED NAILS

Make sure put down some newspaper before you start with this nail art, as things are going to get messy! You'll need 4 nail polishes, one neutral colour (like white, pink etc) and 3 strong colours, a nail art brush and some tape.

First apply 2 coats of the neutral nail polish on your nails and let dry (picture 1). Put tape all around your nails for an easier clean up later. Using the nail art brush dipped into the blue polish, flick the brush over your nails so that the blue polish splatters over them. Make sure you have a generous amount of polish on your brush. Repeat until you have the quantity of splatters you want on your nails (picture 2). Allow to dry completely. Clean the brush with nail polish remover.

Do the same job with the yellow polish and let dry. After cleaning the brush do again the same work with the orange polish (picture 3). With the addiction of each new colour try to strategically flick the polish to create splatters in the uncovered areas so that your nails are covered evenly with a colouful pattern. Allow to dry completely, then remove the tape and clean up any excess polish on your fingers. Seal with Top Coat for a lasting nail art.

Ho già provato altri shampoo e balsamo Avon, quindi stavolta ho provato il Balsamo Instant Repair 7 della Linea Advance Tecniques, per capelli danneggiati. I miei capelli sono sicuramente danneggiati dalle tante tinture, più che altro sulle punte. Questa linea che comprende Shampoo, Balsamo, Maschera e Spray Trattante, è stata creata appunto per riparare i danni causati da tinture, permanenti, stirature, grazie alla sua formula con cheratina. Devo dire che effettivamente dopo averlo usato alcune volte ho notato un miglioramento delle punte, che sono meno crespe di prima e più facili da pettinare, per cui mi sembra che questo balsamo faccia egregiamente il suo lavoro, e mi sento di raccomandarlo a chi come me ha i capelli danneggiati! Prossimamente proverò anche la maschera, anche se io non avendo la pazienza di lasciarla agire per 5-10 minuti preferisco solitamente usare il balsamo

AVON PRODUCT OF THE DAY: INSTANT REPAIR 7 HAIR CONDITIONER

I've already tried some other Avon shampoos and conditioners, so this time I wanted to try the Instant Repair 7 Conditioner of the Advance Tecniques line, for damaged hair. My hair is definitely damaged from too many dyes, especially the ends. This line that includes Shampoo, Conditioner, Mask  and Spray, was created especially to repair hair damaged from colours, perms and so on, thanks to its formula with Keratin. I must say that after using it some times I noticed an improvement in my hair's ends, they are less fizzy and easier to comb, so I'd say this conditioner does its job very well, and I can recommend it to all girls who like me have damaged hair! I will later try the Mask too, even if I don't really have the patience to let it on for the required 5-10 minutes, so I usually prefer to use conditioner.

Io soffro di acne tardiva (visto che è tardiva non poteva aspettare fino ai 70 anni??) così mi ritrovo brufoli e punti neri. La dermatologa mi ha dato una crema per i brufoli ma non ero mai riuscita a togliere i punti neri sul naso... ho deciso di provare questa maschera Avon creata apposta per eliminare i punti neri,  e devo dire che sono soddisfattissima! Si mette  uno strato di maschera sul naso (io l'ho messa anche sul mento) e si lascia asciugare...quando sentite che la maschera vi tira la pelle vuol dire che è asciutta, quindi è il momento di strapparla via delicatamente. Io l'ho usata finora 3 volte e dopo la terza volta i punti neri sono spariti!!!! Adesso continuerò ad usarla una volta alla settimana per mantenere la pelle pulita ed evitare la ricomparsa dei punti neri!! Proverò in seguito altri prodotti della linea Avon Clearskin contro le imperfezioni, ma nel frattempo raccomando questa maschera a chi ha problemi di punti neri difficili da eliminare!

AVON PRODUCT OF THE DAY: LIQUID EXTRACTION STRIP AGAINST BLACKHEADS

I suffer from belated acne (since it's belated, couldn't it wait until I was 70??) so I get pimples and blackheads. The dermatologist gave me a cream against pimples but I wasn't able to get rid of the blackheads on my nose....so I decided to try this Avon mask made especially to eliminate blackheads, and I must say I'm very satisfied!  You put a coat of mask on your nose (I put it on my chin too) and let it dry...when you feel the mask stretch it means it's dry so it's time to peel it off gently. I used it 3 times so far and after the 3rd time the blackheads were gone!! Now I'll keep on using it once a week to keep the skin clean and avoid the coming back of the blackheads. I will try later more products from the Avon Clearskin line against skin imperfections since this one is so good, but in the meantime I recommend this mask to anyone who has blackheads problems!

TUTORIAL LABBRA: ROSSETTO SFUMATO

Questo tutorial è abbastanza semplice  e il risultato è molto bello. Di solito quando usiamo la matita per labbra ne scegliamo una della stessa tonalità del rossetto. In questo tutorial invece si usa una matita per labbra pìù scura, se possibile parecchio più scura. Prima contrornate le vostre labbra con la matita scura entrando anche un pò dentro le labbra con la matita o sfumandola leggermente verso l'interno con un pennellino. Poi mettete il vostro rossetto principale e sfumate insieme i due colori. A questo punto potete decidere che le labbra vanno bene così oppure aggiungere ancora un tocco di un rossetto molto più chiaro al centro, che darà maggiore luminosità alle labbra!

LIPS TUTORIAL: BLENDING LIPSTICK

This tutorial is pretty simple and the result is very nice. Usually when we use a lip pencil we choose it of the same colour of the lipstick. In this tutorial instead you'll need a darker lip pencil, if possible much darker than the lipstick. First contour your lips with the lip pencil and put some colour also inside the lips, or blend it toward the centre of the lips with a brush. Then pur your lipstick on the lips and blend the 2 colours together with a brush.- At this point you can decide your lips are done, or add a touch of a much lighter lipstick in the centre of your lips, this will make your lips look brighter!

Ho ordinato per me alcuni dei nuovi Rossetti Indulgence in uscita in Campagna 2... probabilmente avrete visto la pubblicità in tv di questi nuovi rossetti, e adesso sono finalmente acquistabili! Io ho preso per me 2 tonalità di viola e un fucsia.  La texture è molto morbida e idratante vista la sua formulazione con gel, e non sbava come altri rossetti che sono fin troppo idratanti. Il colore è leggermente più chiaro di come si vede a catalogo, ma caricandolo un pò di più si ottiene il colore del catalogo. E' un rossetto piacevole da indossare che dona morbidezza alle labbra. Di seguito potete vedere le due tonalità  di viola sulla mano e sulle labbra, il fucsia non l'ho ancora indossato sulle labbra, l'ho provato solo sulla mano. La modella sul catalogo indossa questa tonalità di fucsia, quindi potete vedere sul catalogo come rimane sulle labbra. Il prezzo lancio è 5.95, quindi meglio ordinarlo finchè è in promozione!!

AVON PRODUCT OF THE DAY: INDULGENCE LIPSTICK

I ordered for myself some of the new Indulgence Lipsticks coming up in the Brochure 2...Italian customers have seen the tv spots about this lipstick since about 1 month, and now it's finally available! I bought for myself 2 shades of violet and a fuchsia. The texture is very soft and idratating (its formula has gel inside for better idratation), and it doesn't smear like some other lipsticks that are even too creamy. The colour is a bit lighter than you see on the catalogue, but putting a bit more lipstick on your lips you obtain the colour you see on the brochure. It's a lipstick that will make your lips feel soft and idratate. Below you can see the 2 shades of violet on the hand and lips, the fuchsia so far I only tried on the hand. The model in the brochure is wearing this shade of fuchsia though, so you can see on the catalogue how it will look like on the lips. Bene, prendete un gel per capelli con brillantini, oppure un gel normale a cui mischierete dei brillantini, e usando le mani o un pennellino stendetelo sulle radici!! Io amo molto lo smalto Cracklè, al momento Avon non ha questi smalti in catalogo ma solo questa tonalità di blu  (Blue Flash) nel catalogo dei Saldi, per cui ho deciso di prenderne un paio da regalare alle clienti. Devo dire che nella foto sul catalogo non sembra così bello come invece è. Di solito tutti gli smalti cracklè sono opachi, e dalla foto sul catalogo sembra opaco anche questo, invece no, lo smalto ha un effetto metallico bellissimo con tracce di argento. Nelle foto purtroppo non risalta per niente. Appena ho aperto la scatola e ho visto il colore ho deciso subito di tenerne uno per me...visto che ho solo 228 smalti, me ne serviva uno in più, giusto? Ecco qui il mio smalto numero 229!! Visto che alcuni di questi smalti cracklè portano via anche la prima mano dello smalto che ci metti sotto, io prima metto lo smalto di colore contrastante, poi una mano di smalto trasparente, e poi una mano piuttosto spessa di smalto cracklè. Questo smalto in particolare risalta molto se si mette una mano piuttosto spessa. Spero proprio che AVON rimetta questi smalti in catalogo perchè io li adoro!!

I love the Mosaic nail polish very much, at the moment AVON doesn't have these nail polishes in its brochures, only this blue (Blue Flash) in the Sales brochure, so I decided to buy a couple of bottles to give to my clients. I must day in the picture on the brochure the colour doesn't look as nice as it really is. Usually all cracklè polishes are opaque, and from the brochure picture this looks opaque too, but instead the colour has a beautiful metallic effect with lovely silver traces. In the pictures unfortunately it doesn't look as nice as it is. As soon as I opened the box and I saw the colour I immediately decided to keep one for myself....after all I only have 228 nail polishes, so I need one more, right? Well, here is my nail polish number 229!! Since some of these mosaic polishes break also the first coat of polish underneath, I usually put first a coat of coloured nail polish, then a coat of clear nail polish and then a thick coat of  the mosaic polish. This polish especially looks great if the coat is thick. I really hope AVON will put these polishes back in the catalogues as I love them!!

Questa nail art può essere fatta con i colori che volete, la cosa importante è che la base sia chiara, come questo bianco appunto, ma anche gialla, rosa ecc. Vi serviranno 4 smalti diversi e 3 Bulini (grande, medio e piccolo) che potete vedere nella foto 1. Se non li trovate tra i materiali per nail art potete cercarli nei negozi di Hobbistica, perchè questi attrezzi nascono per l'Embossing e il Decoupage.

Prima di tutto passate due mani di smalto bianco sulle unghie e lasciate asciugare bene. Poi usando il bulino più grande bagnato nello smalto giallo fate una fila di 4 pois al centro dell'unghia. Quando saranno asciutti, con il bulino medio bagnato nello smalto azzurro fate una fila di 6 pois su entrambi i lati dei pois grandi. Lasciate asciugare e poi con il bulino piccolo bagnato nello smalto rosso fate una fila di piccolii pois su entrambi i lati esterni dell'unghia. Completate la nail art piazzando un piccolo pois rosso al centro di ogni pois grande giallo. Lasciate asciugare bene e passate un Top Coat per far durare la manicure più a lungo!

NAIL ART : POLKA DOT NAILS

This nail art can be made with many different colours, the most important thing is that the base colour should be light, like this white, yellow, pink etc. You'll need 4 different nail polishes and 3 (Large, medium and small) dotting tools (see photo 1)...if you can't find those made especially for nail art, you can search for them in craft shops as they are also used for various crafts like Embossing and Decoupage.

First paint your nails with 2 coats of the light colour and let it dry well. Then using the Large dotting tool dipped in the yellow polish dot 4 large polka dots down the middle of each nail.When it's dry, using the Medium tool dipped in the blue polish, dot 6 medium polka dots on either side of the row of yellow dots. When it's dry, using the Small dotting tool dipped in the red polish, dot a row of tiny red dots on both outer edges of your nail. Finish the design by placing a tiny red dot in the middle of each large yellow dot. Once the design is completely dry seal it with a Top Coat

Ragazze, questa spazzola è FAVOLOSA!!!!

La Tangle Teezer è, a ragione, la spazzola districante più famosa al mondo, e finalmente è anche nel catalogo AVON!! Questa spazzola è l'ideale per chi (come me) ha i capelli che si annodano moltissimo, i capelli fragili che si spezzano, magari per troppe colorazioni, e può essere usata anche su extension e parrucche. Ha i denti flessibili a due lunghezze e districa i nodi senza fastidi. Può essere usata sia su capelli asciutti che bagnati. Io l'ho provata...i miei capelli si annodano in modo incredibile, a volte mi viene veramente da piangere quando è ora di pettinarli, e ogni volta che li pettino ne strappo via almeno 50!! Bene, la Tangle Teezer mi ha pettinata senza tirarmi i capelli....assolutamente nemmeno un secondo di dolore, dopo essermi pettinata ho guardato la spazzola e....non c'era nemmeno un capello!!! Miracolo!!! Una mia cliente l'ha presa per la nipote che ogni mattina al momento di pettinarla piange per il dolore, e mi ha detto che sua nipote ha adorato la Tangle Teezer!! Una persona addirittura mi ha detto che lei ci pettina il cane che ha il pelo pieno di nodi, e finalmente riesce a districare i nodi senza far soffrire il cane...per cui ragazze, io ve la posso veramente raccomandare, e dirvi che anche se costa leggermente di più rispetto alle altre spazzole, vale veramente il prezzo che costa!!

Tangle Teezer is the most popular hair brush in the world, and it's finally also in the AVON brochure!!! This brush is ideal for unruly hair, hair full of tangles like mine and fragile hair, damaged by colorations or perms. It will disentangle your hair without any pain. It can be used on dry or wet hair. I tried it....my hair have the worst tangles, sometimes when I try to comb it the pain almost makes me cry, and everytime I comb it at least 50 hairs remain on the brush! Well, the Tangle Teezer disentangled my hair without any pain....nothing, not even a second of pain, and after the use I looked at the bruch and.....there were no hair on the brush!! This is a miracle!!! One of my customers bought it for her granddaughter who cries every morning when it's time to comb her hair, and she told me her daughter totally loved the Tangle Teezer!!! Another person told me she is using it to comb her dog's hair and finally she's able to brush her dog without making him suffer....so girls, I can really recommend it, and I can tell you that even if it's a bit more expensive than normal brushes, it's really worth its price!!

NAIL ART: SMALTO DEGRADE - NAIL ART: DEGRADE NAIL POLISH

Lo smalto Degrade è di solito venduto abbinato, perchè in realtà sono due smalti, ma potete ottenere questo effetto con due smalti. Vi serve uno smalto chiaro coprente e uno smalto scuro ma trasparente  possibilmente della stessa tonalità. Prima stendete una mano di smalto chiaro e lasciate asciugare. Poi sul primo dito (decidete voi se il pollice o il mignolo) passate solo un'altra mano di smalto chiaro, sulle altre 4 dita passate una mano di smalto scuro trasparente. Lasciate asciugare, poi passate sulle 3 dita esterne una seconda mano di smalto scuro trasparente. Dopo che sarà asciugato passate sulle 2 dita più esterne una terza mano di smalto scuro trasparente, e alla fine, solo sul quinto dito, una quarta mano. Vedrete così l'effetto Degrade, ogni unghia risulterà più scura dell'altra. Mi raccomando, lasciate asciugare per parecchio tempo, perchè sul quinto dito avrete 5 mani di smalto. Esistono delle gocce per far asciugare prima lo smalto, io non le ho mai provate (lo confesso!!) ma se le avete già usate potete provare a mettere quelle per accelerare l'asciugatura!

NAIL ART: DEGRADE NAIL POLISH

The Degrade nail polish is usually sold combinated because it's 2 nail polishes, but you can obtain this result with 2 nail polishes you have at home. You need a nail polish with a light,  solid colour, and a dark but transparent nail polish, preferably of the same shade of colour. First apply 1 coat of the light nail polish on all your nails and let dry. Then on the first finger apply a second coat of light polish, while on the other 4 fingers you'll apply a coat of the dark polish. Let dry and then on the extern 3 fingers apply a second coat of the dark polish. Let dry again and on the extern 2 fingers apply a third coat of dark polish. Let dry again and on the last finger apply a fourth coat of dark polish. Now you can see the Degrade effect as you'll see that every nail is darker than the previous one. I recommend to let it dry for a long time, as one your fifth finger you'll have 5 coats on mail polish! There are drops to make the nail polish dry faster, I never tried them (I confess!) but if you are familiar with them you can use them to speed up the drying time!

Ho già provato altre due creme di questa nuova fantastica linea AVON, la crema per le mani e la lozione per il corpo, e ne sono rimasta molto soddisfatta. Da un paio di settimane sto usando la Crema 3 in 1: questa crema è senza profumo, come il  resto della linea, per venire incontro alle esigenze delle clienti con pelle particolarmente sensibile che non sopportano il profumo. La crema è studiata specialmente per le zone ruvide del corpo dove la pelle è particolarmente secca, come gomiti e ginocchia, ma va benissimo per tutto il corpo e anche per le mani. E' molto molto idratante e morbida ma non unge e non macchia i vestiti. Se avete come me la pelle così secca che a volte prude, questa crema da un sollievo istantaneo. Io avevo un'irritazione alle gambe dovuta alla depilazione e questa crema me l'ha fatta passare in due giorni!! Raccomanderei questa crema a tutte le persone con la pelle molto secca come la mia!

I already tried 2 creams from this new fantastic AVON line, the Hand Cream and the Body Lotion and I was very satisfied with them. Since a couple of weeks I'm using the 3 In 1 Cream: this cream has no perfume, like the rest of this line, which is created for person with extremely sensitive skin that can't stand perfume. The cream is especially created for the driest parts of the body, like elbows and knees, but it can be used for the whole body and also for the hands. It's very very idratating and soft, but it's not greasy and won't stain your clothes. If you have (like me) such a dry skin that sometimes it itches, this cream will give you an instant relief. I had a skin irritation on my legs due to hair removing and this cream cured it in 2 days! I would recommend this cream to all person with an extremely dry skin like mine!
Unfortunately I can sell this cream only in Italy, as the postage would be too much for foreign people!

COMBINARE TRUCCO E VESTITI: ABITO PAVONE

Ho trovato la foto di questo vestito a dir poco STUPENDO così ho deciso di scrivere un nuovo post sull'arte di abbinare trucco e vestiti. Questo abito ha tanti colori, per cui non è così facile come potrebbe sembrare. Allo stesso tempo avete almeno tre colori tra cui scegliere, che sono i colori prevalenti nel vestito: verde, fucsia e oro. Per esempio, le scarpe sono bellissime, ma se fossero state color oro l'abbinamento sarebbe stato migliore...e in NESSUN CASO le unghie della modella devono restare trasparenti, con tutti questi colori con cui giocare!!

Io ho deciso di andare sul verde per il trucco occhi, essendo il colore prevalente del vestito. Per le labbra il verde non sarebbe l'ideale per un vestito così elegante (anche avendo la giusta tonalità di verde....io ho 3 rossetti verdi ma nessuno andrebbe bene, per esempio), quindi ho deciso per un bel fucsia che riprende i fiori del vestito. E lo smalto?? Qui possiamo decidere se osare e andare sul verde se abbiamo la giusta tonalità, perchè piuttosto che una tonalità completamente diversa è meglio un'altro colore, oppure restare più sul classico abbinando lo smalto al rossetto, e quindi scegliere un fucsia.

COMBINE MAKE UP AND CLOTHES: PEACOCK DRESS

I've found the picture of this WONDERFUL dress, so I decided to write another post about combining make up and clothes. This dress has many colours, so it's not as easy as it seems. At the same time you have at least 3 colours to choose between, that are prevalent in the dress: green, fuchsia and gold. For example, the shoes are beautiful, but if they had been golden they would match better, and the model's nails should NEVER have been left transparent, with all these colours to choose from!

I decided to go green for the eyes make up, since it's the prevalent colour of the dress. For the lips, a green lipstick wouldn't be good for such an elegant dress (even if you had the right green shade, which I confess I don't, even if I have 3 green lipsticks!), so I opted for a nice fuchsia that matches the flowers on the dress. And about the nail polish?? Here we can decide if we want to dare with a green polish if we have the right shade (better a different colour than a totally different shade of green), or be classic and match lipstick and nail polish, therefore choose a fuchsia.

Qualche giorno fa ho provato lo smalto Nailwear Pro+ in una delle nuove colorazioni invernali, Mulberry. Queste 3 colorazioni probabilmente non resteranno in catalogo a lungo, meglio approfittarne finchè si può!  I 3 colori sono un delicato Rosa confetto, un bellissimo Lilla, e appunto il Mulberry. Questo colore è un pò più scuro che nella foto delle mie unghie, e ha delle leggerissime, quasi invisibili venature argento. Il colore è ben coprente, volendo basterebbe anche una sola passata un pò spessa. Non posso esprimermi sulla durata perchè le mie unghie sono senza speranza...io mi lavo le mani così tanto che nessuno smalto mi dura più di 24 ore...ho fatto la ricostruzione gel e alle altre dura più di un mese...bene, a me la prima unghia è saltata via dopo 9 giorni e dopo 13 praticamente ne restavano solo due!! Come vi ho detto...SENZA SPERANZA!! Sul catalogo viene dato come durata addirittura di 12 giorni, il che mi sembra un pò esagerato, anche se devo dire che mi è durato un pò più degli altri, per cui sulle unghie di una persona normale direi che la durata dovrebbe essere buona! Il colore è più simile alla foto del catalogo che a quella delle mie unghie, a causa dell'effetto del flash!

AVON PRODUCT OF THE DAY: NAILWEAR PRO+ NAIL POLISH

Some days ago I tested the Nailwear Pro+ nail polish in one of its new winter edition colours, Mulberry. These 3 new colours most probably won't stay in the Avon brochure for long, better buy them while you can! The colours are a delicate pastel Pink, a beautiful pastel Lilac and the Mulberry. This colour is a bit darker than in the picture of my nails and it has very light, almost invisible silver traces. The colour is strong and you could get away with only 1 thick coat if you want. I can't judge the lasting because my nails are hopeless...I wash my hands so much that no nail polish lasts more than 24 hours on my nails.....I did a gel reconstruction and other women say it lasted 1-2 months on them....well, I lost the first nail after 9 days...and after 13 days I only had 2 nails left!! As I told you...HOPELESS!!  On the brochure they write it can last up to 12 days, sounds a bit too long to me, even if I must say it lasted more than the usual polishes, so on a normal person's nails I'd say the lasting period should be good. The colour is more similar to the brochure's photo than to my nails' photo because of the flash effect.

Questo tutorial è abbastanza facile e veloce, così potrete avere unghie originali in poco tempo! Prima di tutto applicate 2 mani di smalto di un colore solido e chiaro e lasciate asciugare. Mettete lo scotch carta intorno a tutte le unghie, così non vi macchierete le dita con lo smalto. Tagliate una spugnetta da trucco e ricavatene una striscia con cui applicare lo smalto scuro. Bagnate la spugnetta nello smalto nero e premetela leggermente su un pezzo di carta per togliere l'eccesso di smalto. Premete la spugnetta sulla punta dell'unghia, iniziando con una pressione più forte sulla punta dell'unghia (vedi foto 1) e picchiettando più delicatamente verso la base dell'unghia (foto 2). Dopo che avrete ripetuto questo su tutte le unghie e lasciato asciugare potrete rimuovere lo scotch e applicare un top coat

NAIL ART TUTORIAL: SHADOWS

This tutorial is pretty easy and fast, so you can have nice nails without spending too much time doing them! First apply 2 coats of a solid light colour and let it dry. Then put tape around your nails so you won't leak on your fingers with the nail polish. Cut a make up sponge into tiny slices. Dip the sponge into the black nail polish and dab the sponge on a piece of paper to remove excess polish. Dab your sponge onto the tip of each nail, starting with a heavier pressure at the top of the nail (see picture 1) and getting lighter as you get close to the base. Repeat on all your nails making sure all the tips are solid black. Once you have finished all your nails and they are dry remove the tape and apply a clear top coat.

Ho testato questa crema depilatoria viso AVON  ieri sera ed ho aspettato fino ad oggi per scrivere questo post, volendo vedere se si sarebbero presentate irritazioni o rossori della pelle.  Un paio di anni fa ho usato una crema depilatoria viso (non dirò la marca, inizia per V e finisce con S....) che mi ha causato un forte bruciore e la pelle è rimasta rossa e irritata per 10 giorni (non vi dico quanto correttore ho consumato in quei giorni!!), per cui ero un pò nervosa all'idea di provarne un'altra, avevo paura di ripetere la brutta esperienza! Bene, niente di tutto questo, per cui posso dire che la prova è stata un successo!!

Il tubetto è piccolino, ma ne serve poco (a meno che siate Conchita Wurst!!), per cui durerà a lungo.  Ovviamente la crema va usata sulla pelle pulita e senza trucco, non sudata. Si stende uno strato di crema e lo si lascia agire per circa 2 minuti e mezzo, poi si toglie con un panno bagnato, ed è tutto fatto!! Come vi ho detto non ho avuto nessuna irritazione stavolta e la pelle non era nemmeno arrossata. Non so ancora quanto durerà l'effetto, ma in fondo tutta l'operazione mi ha portato via solo 5 minuti!!

AVON PRODUCT OF THE DAY: FACIAL HAIR REMOVAL CREAM

I tested this AVON facial hair removal cream yesterday evening and I waited until today to write this post as I wanted to see if some skin rush or irritation would show up. A couple of years ago I used a facial hair removal cream (won't write the name of the brand, but it starts with V and ends with S!!) and it caused me a bad skin irritation and a rush that lasted about 10 days (believe me, I used a lot of concealer during those days!!), so I was a bit nervous at the idea of trying another one, as I was afraid to have another bad experience! Well, nothing like that happened, so I can say the testing was a success!!

The tube is small but you don't need a lot of cream (unless you are Conchita Wurst!!) so it will last long. Obviously the cream has to be used on clear skin, without make up, not sweat. You just put a coat of cream and let it work for about 2 and half minutes, then you take it off with a wet towel and it's all done! As I said I didn't have any irritation or rush this time and the skin wasn't even red. I don't know how long the effect will last but after all the whole operation took only 5 minutes!!

La celebrità che vi voglio mostrare oggi senza trucco è l'attrice Americana Katherine Heigl (Grey's Anatomy, Roswell). Devo premettere che considero Katherine Heigl una delle donne più belle del mondo perchè ha un visino da bambola e un sorriso meraviglioso. Com'è senza trucco??? Beh, non posso dire che non sia bella, anche acqua e sapone, al contrario di molte altre celebrità, è comunque molto carina! Certo con il trucco, neanche molto pesante, base, cipria, fard e un bel rossetto rosso, diventa a dir poco spettacolare! Il colorito della pelle è più uniforme, gli occhi risaltano molto di pìù e il rossetto rosso attira l'attenzione sul suo bellissimo sorriso! Io preferisco decisamente Katherine con il trucco, e voi??

The skin tone is uniformed, the eyes look brighter and the red lipstick is driving attention on her beautiful smile! I definitely prefer Katherine with make up, what about you?

Il prodotto AVON the sto testando in questi giorni è il Balsamo Advance Techiniques Silk, ad azione Anti-Crespo. Questo balsamo è indicato per chi ha i capelli crespi e indisciplinati, danneggiati da tinture, stirature ecc. Io ho i capelli danneggiati dalle tinture e le punte diventano crespe, per cui ho deciso di provarlo. Finora l'ho usato due volte e i capelli sono rimasti belli per giorni e belli lisci, non crespi. La cosa migliore sarebbe abbinarlo allo shampoo della stessa linea e soprattutto al trattamento intensivo anti crespo senza risciacquo, ma anche da solo funziona bene e lascia i capelli morbidi a lungo. Non ingrassa i capelli e non li rende pesanti, per cui se avete problemi di capelli crespi ve lo consiglio!

AVON PRODUCT OF THE DAY: FRIZZ CONTROL HAIR CONDITIONER

The AVON product I'm testing these days is the Adavance Technique Silk Hair Conditioner for unruly hair.  This hair conditioner was created for women who have unruly, frizz hair, damaged by hair colours and so on. My hair is damaged from hair colours and the ends become frizz, so I decided to try it. So far I used it twice and my hair stayed nice for days, straight and not frizzy. The best thing would be to combine it with the shampoo from the same line and most of all to the Anti-Frizz Treatment , but even by itself it works well and leaves your hair soft for days. It doesn't make your hair greasy and heavy, so if you have frizzy hair I would recommend it!
